Arch Pain

Arch Pain is one of the most common conditions Podiatrists manage.
There can be a number of causes, with the most common being:

* Tibialias Posterior Tendonopathy
* Navicular Stress Fracture
* Lis Franc Ligament Injury
* Plantar Fasciitis
* Nerve Impingement

Each of the above conditions are usually caused by repetitive overuse of the tissue in question as a result of having a pronated (flat) foot type. Other factors such as age, weight, footwear, frequency and duration of training and unique biomechanical characteristics of each foot all contribute to arch pain.

As there are many causes for arch pain, it is important to have a thorough examination to establish what structure is responsible for the arch pain, what has caused it to occur and the best way to manage it.

Our Podiatrists are able to correctly assess, diagnose and manage your arch pain effectively.
