Biomechanical Assessments

Biomechanical assessments are conducted to establish cause of injury and movement patterns.

Our experienced podiatry team are passionate about keeping you active and working towards your goals

Biomechanical Assessments work to assess, diagnose, manage and prevent a variety of injuries. One of the common factors that contribute to foot and leg-related injury is walking and running technique.

We assess your running and walking technique using a treadmill and video assessment. We also use 3D Pressure Mapping , assess each of the 26 bones and 33 joints in your feet, each of the muscles and take a thorough history to try and establish the best treatment plan for you. This knowledge and technology helps us to identify the specific factors which help to settle your current injury, reduce the risk of future injury and improve your efficiency
