Our experienced podiatry team are passionate about keeping you active and working towards your goals
Did you know your feet have 26 bones and 33 joints..in each foot? Each play a key role in allowing your feet to move and adapt to the surfaces we walk and run on.
Our team of Podiatrists have undergone further training in Foot Mobilisation Therapy (FMT) as part of a comprehensive treatment plan to enable these 26 bones and 33 little joints to move and function efficiently.
What can FMT help with?
Foot Mobilisation Therapy is a hands on treatment technique that gently helps maximise the efficiency of joints by isolating each joint and moving it through its range of motion. The treatment is similar to the mobilisation and manipulation your Physiotherapist, Osteopath or Chiropractor would do for other areas of your body. This treatment is coupled with a home exercise program to optimise mobility and stability of these joints.
FMT can help with the following conditions:
- Plantar Fasciiitis (Heel Pain)
